In our discussions, he not only contributed with his knowledge of film but also his dry sense of humor that was always spot on. And he loved film noir to boot. I was privileged to work with him in a professional capacity for a short time. Our one on one meetings afforded me to a personal glimpse into a great guy as well as an impressive professional.
