This site is dedicated to the memory of Chris.

Chris was a mastermind of strategic marketing, wisenheimer, fish rouster, lover of pooches, mustache aficionado, wine snob and self-proclaimed teller of slightly exaggerated stories; but most of all Chris was a man loved by his daughters, family members, friends and co-workers alike. He will forever be within our hearts and weaved throughout our memories as the impact of a man of such greatness can never be extinguished.

Thoughts

During the organization shifts at Wells, I got to hear Chris speak out at meetings during the last 2 years, and he made a great impression. I mentioned to others that he was funny, eloquent, almost stately, and very proper and kind. Who uses the term ‘stately?’ Anyway, I had the great fortune of reporting to him directly during my last two months at Wells. He was as generous as they come, open to ideas, willing to listen and available to help. Chris was a great example of a leader to me and our team. My heart broke, not only for his family of course, but also for the people at work he was very close to for years. I could tell in our group meetings that he was loved and cared for in the WF extended family. My prayers to the family, partially for the grieving process, but also for the memory of how his love and example to us all is in each of their hearts.

They told me Chris, they told me you were dead They brought me bitter news to hear, bitter tears to shed I wept when I remembered how often you and I and our other friends spent hours at the taverns in town How we tired the sun with our talking and our drinking and sent him down the sky And now thou art lying, my dear old San Franciscan guest Already a handful of gray ashes long, long ago at rest Still are thy pleasant voice linger in our minds, thy nightingales awake For Death, he taketh all away, but your spirit he cannot take. Goodbye, goodbye my dear, dear friend Rest In Peace and perhaps we will see you again on the other side. I had the pleasure of knowing Chris as a colleage at Wells Fargo, and by working with him on a number of projects. We could always count on Chris for not only levity but wit when things got tough. I was often inspired by his ability to wade through the muck and come out with a shiny clean pearl of wisdom. Although I did not often get to San Francisco to work personally with Chris, I always enjoyed having dinner with him as the venue and the wine were guaranteed to be fantastic, but eclipsed by Chris' company. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends during this difficult time.
