During the organization shifts at Wells, I got to hear Chris speak out at meetings during the last 2 years, and he made a great impression. I mentioned to others that he was funny, eloquent, almost stately, and very proper and kind. Who uses the term ‘stately?’ Anyway, I had the great fortune of reporting to him directly during my last two months at Wells. He was as generous as they come, open to ideas, willing to listen and available to help. Chris was a great example of a leader to me and our team. My heart broke, not only for his family of course, but also for the people at work he was very close to for years. I could tell in our group meetings that he was loved and cared for in the WF extended family. My prayers to the family, partially for the grieving process, but also for the memory of how his love and example to us all is in each of their hearts.
